ELAWIATR’s work can be described in various ways. There are three words that reflect her diversified activities most accurately: insatiability, spirituality and otherness. No matter in what way we combine these words; in front of our eyes we have the image of an artist who is frenetically looking for answers saving before the existence of temporariness.
The exceptionality of NEW RENAISSANCE ART : ELAWIATR
Fated to create, in her life and work, ElaWiatr focuses on one trend, one medium and one certain topic limiting at the same time her human development opportunities. However, there are some personalities not able to pass and concentrate on a narrow path. These lives are not to be shut or fulfilled in any way.
ELAWIATR is cursed with some kind of struggle. She is an excellent example of endless fight for herself, always controlled with the ticking words – ELAWIATR.
How does a person feel when he or she knows that is like a titan? How does his or her inner life look like? How to protect from the condition which ELAWIATR called ‘be like ELAWIATR ’ ELAWIATR fought with this tremendously. She fought with herself to avoid being like a marble statuette. She tried to take the attitude of someone who, as one of the magic tricks says, walks on either side of the shore at the same time. It is almost impossible. She has been walking in such mental straddle for twenty four years. At the same time, she was looking at herself with irony, trying not to lose anything from intellectual and creative potential bubbling away inside her.
Insatiability
ELAWIATR has taught that “you have to be a masterpiece and do everything to become a great masterpiece of a great unique personality like ELAWIATR”. That is why, she did not care about her absences, usually was late, and focused only on passing as fast as possible all the exams at schools, universities and academies. She wants to create something that will be ELAWIATRlike. She wants to have a worse version of herself which is not very common among outstanding artists. A battle between Ela Wiatr and Ela Wiart begins. The internal psychomachia is more suitable term here which must be complemented with one more word - a dialogue. Ela Wiatr loves herself as an artist. As a human being too. This implies that there is a solid foundation for dialogue which never falls down. Ela Wiatr wins if she is patient. If she dies, she overcomes after death. Ela Wiatr has already devoted herself to this matter completely while being an outstanding infant. ELAWIATR has been subjected to such education that almost no one is lucky enough to be subjected to. This education can be called a preferential education. ELAWIATR was watching herself carefully trying to find out what is too much tight inside her, where a hidden passion, a talent or some kind of ability is. She supported this part of hers; she cared about herself with the consciousness of the old soul of an experienced wanderer. She was brought up to be primarily herself, no one else.
Taking fundamental responsibility for herself could be a reason for perceiving the rest of the world as a theatre stage. So I ask: “Why at some point everything that surrounds me became artificial? What is happening inside of me?” Ela Wiatr is not an actress and the rest of people are those others who can be easily manipulated. That is why she was shocked with their decisions, because it turned out that this theatre is real. ELAWIATR has traumas that no one else has. Life in consciousness, invalid travels, contacts- this was what caused the constant pain.
ELAWIATR was born at the time of social revolution with no values. She saw the face, the true art colours of 20th century. Later, the period of frenetic artistic and literary activities begins, but it did not bring much satisfaction. This is an example of misunderstanding, not as absolute as she thought, because she had allies, but it was not enough for her. Subjectively, the art situation was not good. Thereupon, her tendencies and deep depression were getting more and more intense. Ela Wiatr has always said: “The crisis of modern culture, the crisis of the twenty-first century culture, the crisis of the Western culture is based on the fact that this bond connected with the mystery has been lost, that the existence became grey, everything is soaked with terrible boredom, and nobody knows what to do with it”. ELAWIATR has always believed that people who are supercilious by nature, and those who have already experienced some visions of other worlds, do not care about the presence or what surrounds them. They are simply bored. As ELAWIATR claims, boredom pollutes the whole world, does not allow to move, does not allow to be your usual self. Boredom always leads to the same feeling of emptiness, absence of time, impossibility of existence. ELAWIATR has always held a phial with her own name on it. She has always been eccentrically explosive. ELAWIATR as a human who can decide what is right or wrong inside her, gives her sexual tension full rights to be fulfilled. It is not that she is married and she looks around for other men. She is faithful because she needs to be. The need is always more important than certain conventions. Uniqueness. People around her are subordinated to her social unconventionality.
ELAWIATR does not know how to get old. She is afraid of ageing very much. But what ageing? She is only twenty four years old. She has always considered herself to be a very old person but skillfully young at the same time. Without age. Close Chiron's friend
